Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website operated by Spa by Car, and before booking your appointment. Without prejudice to the above, by using or accessing our website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of use as they apply to your use of or access to our website. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions then you may not use our website.

Buying gift vouchers through our website
To order a product or treatment you will need to follow the ordering procedures set out on the relevant order page. Details of the prices for the products and treatments, and the procedures for payment and delivery are displayed on or through our website. The price of any product or treatment is the price in force at the date and time of your order.

You can use Paypal as the payment gateway for purchasing gift vouchers.


If you have any complaints, you should notify us within 72hours of your treatment date and direct them to us via e-mail at We do require pictures where possible.

Age policy
Please note that we do not offer any intimate waxing to anyone who is under the age of 18 years and for any treatment that is to be carried out on a person under the age of 16 years a parent/guardian must be present and have given their consent by booking for their child.

Refusal policy
Please note that at Spa by Car management reserves the right to refuse bookings to anyone.

Cancellation policy
At Spa by Car we reserve the right to change the date or cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to fire, disputes with employees, by order of any public authority or any other force majeure event.

Please note we require 24 hours notice to cancel or re-schedule all appointments. If you cancel or re-schedule within 24 hours of the appointment time, you will be charged 50% of the appointment cost. If a therapist shows up to your booking and it’s cancelled on the spot 100% is chargeable.

If a gift voucher has been used to secure the booking, please note that we will adjust the value of the voucher to show the cancellation/no show charges. All gift vouchers last for 3months from the time of purchase.

Please note that bookings for Spa Parties are subject to a 48hour cancellation policy.

Treatments not able to be carried out due to client lateness/absence:

If our therapist is unable to provide the full treatment(s) booked, or any of the booked appointment due to a customer running late or being absent then no refund will be provided.

Making your booking& Payment
At Spa by Car all bookings are prepaid at the time of making the reservation. If you are making a booking with a voucher please quote the unique number at the point of checkout.

Please note that your booking will not be confirmed until payment has been made by BACS.

Course sales:

Please note we don’t provide refunds on course sales, and they need to be used within a year of the purchase date otherwise they automatically expire.

Contra-indications/ Special requirements
Please note that there are some contra-indications to some treatments which can be found under faqs, and if you have any medical problems you must inform Spa by Car at the point of booking. You will also find notes on your booking confirmation where patch tests are advised.

For example Heart Conditions, High/Low Blood Pressure, Circulatory Disorders, Epilepsy, Arthritis/Rheumatism, Diabetes, Allergies or if you are pregnant, (this list is not exhaustible,) you should advise the Spa by Car team. In addition, you should seek the advice of your doctor. We are unable to give opinions on any medical conditions.

If you do not inform us of any special requirements at the time of booking we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fully accommodate to your requirements or carry out treatments requested at the time of the visit. We also cannot take responsibility for any consequences if treatments are carried out and we were not informed of any condition.

During the first 12 weeks and after 28 weeks of pregnancy we advise no massage or body treatments. We have a list of full contra-indications on our website for clients to read before booking. There are further FAqs on our website that hold information of this nature.

Availability of our website

We will try to make our website available but cannot guarantee that our website will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error free and can accept no liability for its unavailability. You must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of our website and, in particular, you must not attempt to circumvent security, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt any computer system, server, website, router or any other internet connected device.

You are granted permission to electronically copy and print hard copy portions of this website for the sole purpose of your own personal development. Any use of materials on this website (including but not limited to reproduction for purposes other than those noted above and modification, distribution or republication) without the prior written permission of Spa by Car is strictly prohibited.



This policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”).



We may collect and process the following data about you: Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site (the “Site”). This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the Site, subscribing to our newsletter, posting material or requesting further services, completing any surveys or reporting any problem with the Site; records of your correspondence (if any) with us; details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access; We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.


We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.


For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve the Site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. Our website is built using technology by WordPress and this also uses cookies that help the site to work better for you and monitors the pages that you visit. We’re pretty sure that they use the same kind of cookies but as these sites are not controlled by us, we can not guarantee the cookies that they are using and suggest that you read their privacy policies to be absolutely sure. On the website there are booking forms, enabling you to send us a message directly through the website. In order to use that we need your first name, surname, telephone number and email address as well as your message. Your personal details along with your history of billing and appointments will be stored on our secure CRM system. If you have opted in to be contacted with news and offers, you will also receive these but can opt out any time you wish.


You are able to contact us via the email addresses provided on our website. Your personal details will be saved on our secure CRM system and used only so that we can respond and contact you in regard to your booking request as well as send you a booking confirmation and reminder. If you have selected to opt in you will also receive other communications via email or SMS, and are able to opt out at any time.


The data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
